Wild Acres is a wonderful secluded rural 2.5 acre site surrounded by fields and woods on the Severn Vale. There are footpaths and cycle routes just off site and many local attractions including Berkeley Castle, Slimbridge and within walking distance the ships graveyard at Purton.
The site has running water and gas supply to the outdoor kitchen to the buildings but is totally off grid. Solar panels on the roofs enable low voltage lighting to the buildings but there is no other electricity supply.
With a wildflower meadow, vegetable and useful plants garden, soft and top fruits, dappled brook and mature trees, it is a great place for all who appreciate the natural environment.
Facilities include an outdoor kitchen, fire pit, pizza oven, arts area, compost toilet and shower/wash room.
They are all functional, but we do aim to be ‘state of the art’. Wherever possible we have used recycled, repurposed or re used materials that have been sourced locally. The result is quite idiosyncratic with a mish mash of styles that make up our unique Wild Acres!
